Chardonnay, Balletto
Aromatics of honeysuckle and butterscotch merge with tropical fruit with a pineapple twist. The smooth entry glides into a creamy mouthfeel with just a touch of bright acidity. Melon, pineapple, lychee nuts and caramel flavors blend with a lovely limoncello essence that appears mid-palate and lingers into the finish.
The balance of richness and acidity make this an ideal food wine—be it butter-drenched fresh cracked crab or chicken Caesar salad.
Matrix Bordeaux Blend
Fragrances of currant, violets and forest floor tempt the nose while the mid-palate is jam-packed with cherry pie, bitter chocolate and ultra-fine tannins. The finish is well balanced integrating the ripe fruit with its plush tannins accented with traces of leather and cedar plank.
Petite Sirah, Bacigalupi
Concentrated aromas of inky dark fruit hint at the rich flavors that follow. Although the wine needs time to open and reveal its true essence, it is worth the wait. The smooth, opulent texture offers a seamless blend of plum, blackberry, mocha and vanillin oak. Polished tannins and toasty oak frame the lush flavors and provide the structure for bottle aging, if you have the willpower to wait.
